Visa run through Lao Bao Border Gate

Tourists are exempt of visa to Vietnam if they come from following countries: Germany, France, Italia, Spain, UK, Russia, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belarus. However, their visa-free stay only lasts for 45 days. In case tourists from these countries want to extend their stay for another 45 days, a visa run would be the best choice. 

Tam's Cafe offers visa run for tourists from the above countries who wish to do a visa run in the same day via Lao Bao Border Gate in Quang Tri province. In order to do the visa run within the same day, the tourists should be staying in following provinces: Da Nang, Hue, Quang Tri, and Quang Binh.

If you are a single person and already in Dong Ha, you just need to go to Dong Ha Bus Station (Direction on Google:  https://goo.gl/maps/ZSZxm4NqJv2yGjA67). They have buses leaving for Lao Bao every hour from 6am to 4pm. From Lao Bao bus station, you need to walk 1.5km to Lao Bao Border Gate to do the visa run. After completing the visa run, you should be back to Lao Bao bus station to pick a Dong Ha bus. There are buses back to Dong Ha every 2 hours.
